Unaerp was present at the 31st Conference of FAUBAI - Brazilian Association for International Education, held from April 13 to 17, in Belém, Pará. With the central theme "Global Community Engagement", the event addressed the themes of trends and perspectives of the future around the internalization of teaching. The University was represented by Professor Vanessa França Bonini Panico, Director of the National and International Interinstitutional Cooperation Division - DCINI.
In addition to being a member of the board and organization of the largest internationalization conference in Latin America, Vanessa was also one of the presenters of the session on "The Internationalization Scenario for Private HEIs in Brazil: Challenges and Opportunities." Unaerp team at FAUBAI also counted on the participation of assistants Marcelo Evangelista and Lucas Ferrari.
The conference was attended by more than 550 participants, including representatives from higher education institutions and Brazilian and foreign organizations; internationalization specialists from higher education and members of foreign agencies and government and business organizations from Brazil and abroad from at least 25 countries: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, United States, France, Holland, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Norway, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Thailand and Uruguay.
FAUBAI
Brazilian Association for International Education, was created in 1988 and brings together more than 180 managers or heads of international affairs, promoting the integration and training of managers in the area, through seminars, workshops and regional and national meetings, as well as disseminate the diversity and potential of Brazilian higher education institutions to development agencies, diplomatic representations, international organizations and programs. The association aims to promote the improvement of international exchange and cooperation as instruments for the improvement of teaching, research, extension and administration of affiliated institutions.
