Research
Unaerp keeps research projects via self-financing and from the main national research funding
organizations as CNPq, Fapesp, Finep, Capes, Embrapa and Funadesp, and it has fifty groups credited
by CNPq. The framework of high-level researchers, the laboratory facilities, library and
partnerships allow Unaerp to excel in science and ensure national and international publications, as
well as providing scholarships and investments for undergraduate, masters and Ph.D. programs. The
results of this institutional scientific policy are the patents registration and copyright
assignments, in addition to the continuous updating of teaching with knowledge interchanged with
research.
ETHICS COMMITTEE ON RESEARCH FOR HUMAN BEINGS - CEP
CEP is an interdisciplinary and independent collegiate body, which must exist in institutions that carry out research involving human beings, aiming to defend the interests of research subjects in their integrity and dignity and to contribute to the research development within ethical standards (Norms and Regulatory Guidelines for Research Involving Human Beings - CNS Res. 466/2012 and Operational Standard 001/2013).
Certificate Groups
Guided in teaching precepts, research and extension, the University of Ribeirão Preto, through the Coordination of Research and Graduation, has current research groups registered in the database of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development - CNPq, patents and copyright assignment. In addition, Unaerp develops research projects, distributed among the areas of STEM, Biological and Humanities.

The Center for Indigenous Studies and Afro Brazilian has the function of debate and study issues of black and indigenous population and racial equality promotion policies. Promotes studies and discussion on issues related to indigenous people.
