These projects are in harmony with the academic proficiency of the university, striving to facilitate actions, activities, services, and research that address the specific needs of the community.
Unaerp's extension project encompasses the planning and implementation of scientific, cultural, and artistic initiatives. Guided by its philanthropic and community-oriented mission, the institution's endeavors are grounded in principles such as citizenship, university autonomy, ethical conduct, and institutional and social responsibility. The primary objective is to create a positive impact on society.
The Extension Plan at Unaerp aims to support the development of public policies, contribute to the establishment of best organizational practices, promote innovative approaches to healthcare, and foster inclusive citizenship and social responsibility. Therefore, Unaerp's extension policy goes beyond mere assistance; it constitutes an academic practice that bridges the institution with societal needs, particularly at the regional level. Since 2015, the institution's extension initiatives have been deeply committed to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The University's actions also consider the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) of United Nations, promoting activities that facilitate debates and actions involving educators, students, representatives of civil society and government bodies, companies and media, with the aim of promote critical approaches to issues related to social responsibility and sustainability.

With the aim of promoting extension actions in the academic community, Unaerp maintains grants for project development and other extension activities (PROEX/UNAERP). Scholarships are distributed through specific calls, and projects undergo evaluation by a multidisciplinary committee.
