UNAERP, through Exchange Office, will send ten undergraduate students to study, for six months abroad, through its International Mobility program. The group will be divided into four countries: Ireland, France, Canada and Portugal.
On Wednesday, 01/08, students received pre boarding guidelines, prepared by the Exchange Office team, with the Coordinator of DCINI - the Division of National and International Cooperation, Vanessa Bonini Panico. She spoke about the challenges that students will face during the exchange and the support they will receive from the entire Core team during the trip.
With more than 100 partnerships with international institutions, UNAERP Exchange Office is increasingly sought after by those interested in studying abroad at some point in the undergraduate program. "Since we started, there has been a rise because they feel this is more palpable. We noticed that even high school students are already looking for us to know when they can do this international cooperation”, celebrates Vanessa.
The student of the 6th stage of Business course, Felipe Conrado, chose the University of Coimbra - Portugal, for the ease of the language. "In addition, everyone who talked about, who went there, said that the Institution welcomes students very well, presents good opportunities for internationalization with students from other countries and has many agreements. I also chose Portugal to know another culture and the European economy. I am a little anxious but I hope everything works well”, he says.
For Ana Laura da Silveira Menezes, student of the 7th stage of Civil Engineering, who will travel to France on her 1st exchange, the biggest challenge will be the relationship with people from other countries. "I am a little scared, but I think it will be good. I chose France because the lessons are in English so I can learn two languages at the same time, "she explains. In addition to sending students to other countries, UNAERP has just received five French students from Sup'Biotech, a partner institution, who will study in the Biotechnology department in English-taught courses during the second half of 2018. Welcoming Reception took place in the last Monday, July 30th, at the Exchange Office, where a presentation was made with information from the University and the city of Ribeirão Preto.
Students interested in studying in France can also apply for a place at Sup'Biotech through the International Mobility Program - PROMOBI UNAERP. "The importance of this mobility is not only curricular enrichment but an enrichment as a person. It is as you have a blank book and you can write a new story; get to know other cultures, other nationalities and other ways of thinking", says Vanessa
