UNAERP COMMITTEE IFMSA MAKES ONE MORE CAMPAIGN TEDDY BEAR - HOSPITAL

UNAERP Committee IFMSA - International Federation of Medical Students Associations promotes another edition of the Teddy Bear Campaign. It will take place at Nave da Saudade Daycare – Jardim Zara / Ribeirão Preto on May 26th at 9am.
The Campaign was created to show children that the hospital is a place of care and to help them lose their fear of doctors. The goal of the project is to create an atmosphere of trust where the child can cope with the fears of medical care and the hospital environment. The idea is that they experience it when they are healthy, without the common vulnerabilities of a hospital stay.

During the action, teddy bears are delivered to a group of children simulating a hospital routine. In this space, each child will take their teddy bear to a complete consultation and treatment to create a positive experience of this situation.

Students of the Nutrition, Psychology and Dentistry courses will also participate in the event, each one talking about the importance of their area for children. In addition, there will be a playground with games, drawings, ball pool and trampoline.
