UNAERP Exchange Office received on the 19th the visit of the representative Sophie Picavet, Director of International Affairs at Sup'Biotech, a partner French institution.

Sophie's visit strengthened the 4-year partnership between the two institutions, especially in the Biotechnology course. UNAERP will begin to offer courses taught in English and with this will be possible to receive French students for an academic semester with the Brazilians. "The first two students who will be part of this program arrive at UNAERP in August," she explained.

Possibilities of trainee programs and professors mobility were also discussed. "The exchange between our students is a first seed for a greater agreement. We are talking about faculty exchanges, double degrees, joint research, and I think there is a lot of potential among our institutions," she said.

At the time of the visit, Sophie was still able to get to know the campus, especially the Biotechnology Division and the courses in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Technology and Pharmaceutical Sciences. "I am loving it all here, it's my first time in Brazil, but I can guarantee it will not be the last," she finished.
