CAPES COORDINATOR LECTURES AT UNAERP

The Master's Program in Law of Unaerp received on Wednesday, 27, the coordinator of the Area of Law of CAPES, professor doctor Otávio Luiz Rodrigues Júnior, to give the lecture "Neo-constitutionalism and Civil Law: Elements for the critique of a concept ".

Prior to the event, the speaker participated in a reception and chat with coordinators of postgraduate courses in Ribeirão Preto and region and professors of master's and law degree from Unaerp.
A year in the management of Capes, Otávio acted with measures of transparency, democratization, alteration of the rules and approximation with the graduate programs in Law in Brazil. In the lecture he addressed the concept of Neo-constitutionalism and its impact on Civil Law. "It is important to discuss this issue with the students, because it is a way of bringing to them the discussion of topics that are considered commonplace for the doctrine of Civil Law and Constitutional Law and that deserve a contemporary re-reading," commented Professor Octavio.

The coordinator of the undergraduate and master's degree in Law at Unaerp, Professor Sebastião Sérgio da Silveira, considered the visit of Professor Otávio not only for graduate students but also for the students who are now beginning to graduate. "It is very important to bring new ideas, new knowledge, new people to our internal audience. Also to show to this external audience what and how is the University, our courses and everything beautiful that we do in here, "added Professor Sebastião.
