A work developed by the Unaerp medical program was presented at the Heart Failure Congress in Athens, Greece. The event, which took place from May 25 to 28, is the largest worldwide congress promoted by the European Society of Cardiology. The University's Medical Coordinator, Professor Reinaldo Bulgarelli Bestetti, presented the scientific work that was developed with the Research Center of the Medicine program at Unaerp.

Entitled "Kinins and nitric oxide in chronic Chagas disease and systemic arterial hypertension", the work has financial support from the Institution and has been developed by the professors Reinaldo Bestetti, Renata Dellalibera Joviliano, Rosemary Furlan Daniel, Milton Faria Junior, Nelson Lucif Junior and in collaboration with the alumnus Gabriel Lopes and the doctor, Kenio Lopes.
