Business Program offers courses in English

In the first semester of 2021, the Business undergraduate program at Unaerp offers eight courses taught in English. Classes take place remotely through the Virtual Mobility Program, managed by the International Office, connecting Brazilian and foreign students. The courses are already part of the program’s syllabus and Unaerp students can choose to take them in Portuguese or in English.

Altogether there are ten foreign students of different nationalities (Afghan, Argentine, Chilean, French, Moroccan, Turkish and Vietnamese) who participate in the subjects, which allows an intercultural exchange during classes and group studies, both for students and for professors, resulting in important global competencies for professional careers and for the education of a global citizen. “I think the great news about the program this semester is that we have 40% of the Business program internationalized, that is, 40% of the courses offered are in English. Another relevant point is that in 2021 we beat our record of foreign students, receiving students from Universidad San Pablo Tucumán (Argentina), Universidad de La Frontera (Chile), Istanbul Aydın University (Turkey) and BBA INSEEC (France)”, explains Ricardo Donegá, coordinator of the Business Program at Unaerp.

During the pandemic, online classes mediated by technology, enabled the Unaerp Virtual Mobility Program, being responsible for maintaining the international experience for students, thus allowing everyone to have the opportunity to participate in internationalization. This integration is an important source of cultural expansion in Brazil with other nationalities, since international students participate in this immersion in classes offered by Unaerp.

The courses are not exclusive to students of Business Administration at the University and can be assisted by students from other study program, or from other higher education institutions, as well as trained professionals.
