On November 17, from 9:00 am (UTC-3:00 am), Unaerp will hold the 22nd edition of CONIC – Scientific Initiation and Research Congress. With the central theme “Science and Technology in Combating the Pandemic”, the Congress will be entirely virtual - the registration, the presentations and evaluations for awards. Conic Unaerp, with annual editions since 1999 when it was created, is a congress open to beginners in scientific production, as well as researchers at postgraduate level, Brazilian or foreign. The objective is to contribute to the training and encouragement of researchers, undergraduates, postgraduates, masters and doctors and the event brings together a significant list of universities, covering different areas of knowledge.


Online Format – For the second time, the event adopted the presentation and evaluation of papers by digital means, being entirely online. Both presentation modalities remain, panel and oral, but with adjustments to the new format mediated by technology. The panels will be produced in templates made by Unaerp to prepare the presentation in power point. Oral presentations will take place in a virtual meeting room. Both presentations will be on the Google Meet platform.


Papers will be accepted in Portuguese and English for panel presentations and only in Portuguese for oral presentations.
The registration of papers in the Oral Presentation modality is open only to undergraduates in scientific initiation and the author(s) must post an abstract and an expanded abstract of their paper. The oral presentation will take place on November 17, from 2 pm to 5 pm (UTC-3:00), in a virtual meeting room on the Google Meet platform. There will be a room for each area of knowledge (Humanities, Health and Technologies).


As for the panels, they will be replaced by a template provided by Unaerp, containing seven slides. This template must be prepared by the authors and used at the time of submission, also on the 17th, in the morning from 9:00 am (UTC-:300) and at night from 7:00 pm (UTC-3 :00). The presentations will be on the Google Meet platform and will have a maximum duration of 5 minutes.


With the approval of the registered papers, the authors will receive by e-mail a confirmation with the presentation time and the link to the room in which the Institution's evaluator will be performing the evaluation.
