Unaerp Architecture and Urbanism program participates in the seventh edition of Proyectos en Red - PER, from the Universidad Blas Pascal - UBP, in Cordoba, Argentina. Held since September this year, the project brought together institutions from countries such as Spain, Mexico and Brazil to explore the use of new Information and Communication Technologies and will end with a virtual meeting on October 22, at 1 pm.
Professor Edson Salerno Junior, coordinator of the Architecture and Urbanism program at Unaerp, says that the purpose of PER is to create a virtual meeting point to face the challenges that technological advances and political and social changes pose.
The idea, says Salerno Junior, is to promote “a space for reflection on territorial changes, urban processes and contemporary architectural developments that put traditional architecture thinking models in crisis”.
This year, the project brings the participation of students from the 5th to 9th period of Unaerp Architecture and Urbanism program - representing Brazil - together with the Polytechnic of Valencia, Spain, and the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico.
Every 15 days, all working groups on the participating campuses receive assistance from the coordinating professors at each location and also with professors invited to participate in the experience, such as professors Marcela Cury Petenusci and Edson Salerno Junior, who represent Unaerp.
COOPERATION - For the development of PER, each participating country provided a piece of land, in addition to data so that groups of students could develop the architectural projects.
