On the 4th, UNAERP received Gerry Kaufman, Education and Culture Attaché at the US Consulate in São Paulo, and Wesley Oliveira, Cultural Affairs Advisor at the Consulate General. The purpose of the visit was to get to know the Institution that, since 2014, houses one of the more than 40 EducationUSA offices, in addition, to identifying possible ways the Consulate can contribute to initiatives to promote American education and culture at the University and in the Ribeirão region.

Visitors were also welcomed by the Dean of UNAERP, Professor Suzelei de Castro França, and the coordinator of Teaching and Extension, Professor Sonia Maria Camargo dos Santos.

 Education USA is a global network of US State Department Guidance Centers. The mission in Brazil is to facilitate access to accurate, comprehensive and up-to-date information about study opportunities in higher education in the US.

Since 2014, UNAERP has hosted an Education USA Center, which has the director of International Cooperation at UNAERP, Professor Vanessa Bonini Panico, as an advisor to the department.
