ARVOREDOS ISLAND - Established by mechanical engineer Fernando Eduardo Lee, who graduated from Lafayette College 100 years ago, Arvoredos Island captured the attention of the delegation, which aims to deepen its understanding of the island's history and sustainability attractions, located just 5 minutes from Pernambuco Beach.
Recently, the island was awarded the Green Key certification, becoming the first and only tourist attraction in the Americas and the Southern Hemisphere to achieve this international environmental recognition.
