The Annual Conference of the Brazilian Association for International Education (FAUBAI) took place from April 20th to 24th. With the theme "Inviting for a New Journey," the event welcomed approximately 700 participants from 25 countries and featured over 100 presentations by both Brazilian and foreign speakers focusing on themes related to the internationalization of higher education. During the conference, representatives from Unaerp had the opportunity to engage with counterparts from partner institutions spanning countries such as Australia, Brazil, Spain, France, Italy, Peru, and Portugal.
Unaerp actively contributed to the organization of the event. Serving as an associate and a member of the Board elected for the 2023-2025 term, the Brazilian Association for International Education (Faubai) includes Professor Vanessa França Bonini Panico, Coordinator of Unaerp's Division of National and International Cooperation, in the role of Treasurer.
In addition to Professor Vanessa Panico, other attendees from Unaerp included the university's rector, Professor Suzelei de Castro França; the director of Teaching, Research, and Extension, Professor Rafael Tomaz de Oliveira; the coordinator of Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Programs and the Biotechnology Postgraduate Program, Professor Mozart de Azevedo Marins; the coordinator of the International Relations undergraduate program, Professor Laura Meneghim Donadelli; the coordinator of the Architecture and Urbanism undergraduate program, Professor Edson Salerno Júnior; the coordinator of Virtual Exchange, Professor Gabriela Coetti; the supervisor of International Agreements and Partnerships, Lucas da Costa Ferrari; and the assistant of the International Office, Marcelo Pereira Evangelista..jpeg)

President's Day - Unaerp's rector, Professor Suzelei, attended President's Day, a program aimed at presidents and rectors of Brazilian and foreign institutions. The event featured Denise Pires de Carvalho from the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES); Hilligje van't Land from the International Association of Universities (IAU); and Cristina Montalvão Sarmento from the Association of Portuguese Language Universities (AUL).
Brazilian Virtual Exchange/COIL - Additionally, during the event, Professor Edson Salerno Júnior, coordinator of the Architecture and Urbanism program, and Gabriela Coetti, coordinator of Virtual Exchange at the University, presented two sessions on BRaVE – Brazilian Virtual Exchange/COIL – Collaborative Online International Learning.
During the session, Professor Salerno Júnior discussed the experience of the Architecture and Urbanism program, which engaged in virtual international activities in partnership with the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez in Mexico. This collaboration resulted in an extension project involving the development of proposals related to urban axis redevelopment, collective social housing, and landscaping in the context of both countries.

Addressing the experience with virtual exchange, Professor Gabriela presented Unaerp's structure and results as a successful case in developing activities and BRAVE-COIL training alongside the University's courses. Subsequently, these courses engaged in joint virtual activities with foreign universities.
