The Unaerp Choir took part in the 12th International Choirs and Orchestras Festival in Poreč, Istria, Croatia, held from April 9th to 13th. The group performed in the Historic Center of Poreč and at the hotel amphitheater where they stayed. The event featured participation from countries such as Germany, Poland, Estonia, Hungary, and Finland.
According to Cristina Modé, the choir's conductor, the main songs performed included sambas, bossa nova, and repertoire from the choir. "For us, it was of great importance to participate in this festival, alongside European choirs that have had this practice ingrained in their culture from an early age. We delivered our message and were applauded by the audience."
The conductor also emphasized the importance of Unaerp's support and encouragement. "I believe the University should feel honored as well to have a choir of our quality that carries its name beyond our borders. Our choir was the only one from the Americas to be selected."
