VI International Congress of the Ibero-American Network of Research on Social Security takes place in Málaga, Spain

On September 26th and 27th, the VI International Congress of the Ibero-American Network of Research on Social Security will be held in Málaga, Spain. Under the theme "Challenges to Ensure Adequate and Sufficient Social Protection: Sustainability and Migration Processes in the Ibero-American Framework," the event is organized by Unaerp, in partnership with the University of Málaga, the Spanish Association of Health and Social Security (AESSS), and the University of São Paulo.

On the 26th, Professor Rodrigo Monteiro Pessoa from the Graduate Program in Law will deliver the lecture "Migration Processes, Social Integration, and Coordination of Social Security Systems" at 4:30 p.m. (Madrid time). At 6:30 p.m., Professor Rafael Tomaz de Oliveira, Director of Teaching, Research, and Extension at Unaerp, will participate in the panel “Garantía de la protección social de las personas trabajadoras migrantes. El Convenio Multilateral Iberoamericano de Seguridad Social”.

In addition to the lectures and panels, the event on the 26th will also feature presentations from Working Groups, coordinated by professors Sebastião Sérgio da Silveira, coordinator of the Unaerp Undergraduate Program and the Master’s and Doctorate Programs in Law; Rafael Tomaz de Oliveira, and Rodrigo Monteiro Pessoa.

On the final day of the Congress, the 27th, professors Silveira and Oliveira will host the closing ceremony and announce the host city for the 2025 edition.
