Unaerp Guarujá will once again be represented internationally. Prof. Dr. Márcio Curvello from the Civil Engineering and Nursing Programs, will act as an instructor for the University of Coruña, in Spain, between the 15th and 26th of July. On the occasion, he will teach the course “Building Chatbots: From Basics to Advanced Conversational Agents”.
The participation of Professor Márcio Curvello represents recognition of his expertise and the prestige of Unaerp Guarujá on the global academic scene. The course will be taught through the University of Coruña's International Summer School (ISS), an initiative that brings together teachers and students from more than 70 countries and offers an enriching, multicultural experience.
During the course, Prof. Márcio Curvello will teach on topics such as understanding the role and applications of chatbots, the different types of chatbots, and the importance of Natural Language Processing (NLP). It will also cover building chatbots and smart contacts, including conversational design, integration of multimedia elements, and development for specific applications. Furthermore, the course will cover the integration of chatbots with external APIs and services, focusing on data communication between different applications.
With extensive academic and professional experience, Prof. Dr. Márcio Curvello has a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Nanosciences and Advanced Materials, including his professional work as a systems analyst at Blip, where he developed chatbots in Blip Builder, and applications in C#, React and JavaScript. This expertise allows him to share with students not only theory, but also practice, enabling them to apply the knowledge acquired during the course, including testing, efficient deployments and monitoring of chatbots on the Blip platform.
