The experimental agencies F5, Gênesis, and Resu, formed by students from the Undergraduate Program in Publicity & Advertising, stood out during the FestDigital awards ceremony, organized by the Association of Advertising and Marketing Professionals - APPM Ribeirão, on September 6. For 22 years, the event has honored the best works developed for the Audio and Online segments.
On this occasion, the agency F5, consisting of eighth-semester students, won Gold in the Online University category for their campaign “Join the Family,” created for the NGO Pets da Alegria. In the same category, the agency Gênesis, also from the eighth semester, secured Silver with the campaign “Embrace This Sweetness,” developed for the collective Maria Sai do Pote. Lastly, the agency Resu, from the fourth semester, also took home Silver in the Audio University category with the campaign “Create Connections,” for the advertiser Cravnet.

The coordinator of the program, Professor João Flávio de Almeida, explains that the students' participation in the awards is part of an extension project that supports NGOs in Ribeirão Preto. “For six months, we provide a comprehensive boost in social media, websites, and more for these NGOs. It’s great because it’s a hands-on project where we see theory applied in practice. When we conduct this test and then see the market affirming that the work is good, it serves as another validation—not just from the professors, but from the market itself.”
One of the faculty advisors for the award-winning campaigns, Professor Marília Mattos, notes that the recognition demonstrates the quality of the program, which prepares skilled, humane, aware, and creative professionals. “Unaerp is an institution that cares about the quality of its faculty and the education it provides. This recognition reinforces the results of the work of committed teams, composed of a participative coordination and a dynamic teaching staff.”

Award-Winning Campaigns - With the campaign “Join the Family,” the agency F5 aimed to raise awareness among the population of Ribeirão Preto about the NGO Pets da Alegria’s need for new volunteers. This strategy earned them Gold in the “Online University” category of the awards. Team member Murilo Alves de Souza shared that winning the trophy served as motivation for his professional journey. “When you’re someone who has won an award, especially Gold like we did, it feels like a boost. We’re in our final semester, we won an award for a campaign we created, and we’re leaving the university with added motivation. It really enhances our resumes and gives us insight into the job market.” Watch the campaign video here.
In the same category, the agency Gênesis secured Silver with the campaign “Embrace This Sweetness,” developed for the collective Maria Sai do Pote to raise funds for the space used by the project’s volunteers. The initiative involved an online crowdfunding campaign that integrated Instagram, WhatsApp, and a website for the collective. “We strategically thought about how we could improve the reach of these women. When the campaign concluded, we handed over all these social media accounts. The idea is for them to be independent, even after we step back.” You can check out the explanatory video of the campaign at this link.
In the "Audio University" category, the agency Resu, from the fourth semester, won Silver with the campaign “Create Connections” for the internet provider Cravnet. The audio is available at this link.
