Research

Consistent with the philosophy to integrate into the community and help its development, Unaerp develops research lines that primarily meet the regional demands both in Singapore and in the Campus Guarujá, applying knowledge to improve quality of life and sustainable socio-economic development. The institutional scientific policy invests in infrastructure, in the composition of a high level of researchers strives to seek sources of financial resources from the main national funding agencies. Thus, the research projects developed with our own investments and resources from the funding agencies result in certified research groups by CNPq, national and international publications, patents, and other results.
More than 90% of the investments are made by the institution, however there are partial resources from CNPq, FAPESP, FINEP and CAPES - including, PhD scholarships, master's and undergraduate research aimed at undergraduate and graduate students. In addition to the external scholarships, the University also designed their own research grants and supports its researchers to present studies and network in national and international scientific conferences. All the necessary support for carrying out the projects is offered by the Coordination of Graduate Studies at the University of Ribeirão Preto, which, since 1997, brings together all the research projects developed on campuses of Ribeirão Preto and Guarujá, linked to Master / Doctorate programs or to undergraduate courses.
Through these incentives, the intention of Unaerp is to fulfill one of its primary functions, the construction of knowledge through the development of scientific research, evolving dissertations, theses and patent registrations.
