The Laboratory of Computing for Research and Teaching (LIAPE) is composed of a set of laboratories and computer services aimed at supporting the academic activities of students and professors of all academic programs, as well as courses with specific computing credits.
There are eighteen rooms equipped with multimedia projectors, networked computers, and wireless network access. The laboratories are properly air-conditioned, comply with accessibility standards, have sound insulation, and provide a conducive internal environment.
In these laboratories, research work, practical exercises, and various projects are carried out, including the development of educational systems and games using a wide range of teaching methodologies.
LIAPE also includes specific laboratories for Computer Science, Engineering, and Medicine programs, such as the Morphofunctional Laboratory and the Robotics, Automation, Software Engineering, Networks, Advanced Studies in Process Technologies, among others.
Additionally, assistive technology resources with software and hardware are available to support students with disabilities.
