The Foreign Languages Institute – ILE – was founded on April 26, 1996 to offer language courses to Unaerp students, professors, and administrative staff. Established on the Ribeirão Preto campus, with modern language teaching technology, ILE maintains an orientation and training service with courses and activities that add professional qualification to the student and expand knowledge of foreign cultures. The goal is to help students graduate with even more qualifications and preparation for the job market.

ILE is also a complement to Unaerp's International Office. Scholarships to study abroad and sandwich courses for undergraduate and graduate students require knowledge of foreign languages and ILE is the Unaerp departament that facilitates and guides the area of language training.

ILE is also an accredited center for the TOEFL iBT exam in Ribeirão Preto.

Unaerp is an accredited center by the Educational Testing Services (ETS) for the TOEFL iBT test in Ribeirão Preto.

The TOEFL iBT is the English proficiency exam which assesses all four language skills: Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing. 

At Unaerp candidates find a computer lab with the infrastructure required by ETS, meeting its comfort and quality standards for the candidates.
