Unaerp, which for about forty years has been offering courses and developing research in areas related to and applied to agribusiness, received yesterday, December 2, the award for the winner of the 18th Visão Agro Award. The trophy delivery ceremony took place at Galo Bravo event space.
The University was represented by Professor Luciana Rezende Alves de Oliveira, coordinator of the Doctoral and Master's Program in Environmental Technology and the undergraduate program in Chemical Engineering; and by Professor Ana Lucia Fachin, research professor of the Doctoral and Master's program in Biotechnology and undergraduate professor of the Medicine program.
About the Award
Created in 2003, Visão Agro Award aims to recognize professionals, companies and institutions that have contributed to establishing quality and productivity standards in the agroindustry area, one of the main economic segments in the country.
Throughout its last editions (to which it was added to the Centro-Sul edition, from 2007 onwards, entitled Visão Agro – Centro-Sul), the evaluation and awards have paid tribute to great names and personalities in the sector.
The Award is sponsored by companies such as Dedini, a capital goods company with more than 100 years of foundation, and Nova Smar, a technology company specialized in solutions aimed at industry 4.0.
