Unaerp Law program received the OAB Recommend Quality Hallmark 2022. The OAB (Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil - Brazilian Lawyer Association) is the highest entity representing Brazilian lawyers and is responsible for regulating the law and for applying the Exam for the lawyers.

This award is given to programs that perform satisfactorily against the requirements defined by the Association. The program had already received the award in 2016 and, according to the coordinator, Professor Doctor Sebastião Sergio da Silveira, “it is a very great achievement to be among those classified by OAB to receive this award”.

The hallmark, which is delivered every three years, is the recognition of higher education institutions in which the law program met the criteria established by the Special Commission, with the aim of contributing to the appreciation of quality legal education.

In addition, the award takes into account the approval of students in the Exam and their performance in Enade (National Student Performance Exam). For Professor Sebastião Sérgio da Silveira, coordinator of the Law program, in this edition around 1,600 programs were evaluated, of which only 100 received the OAB Recommend Quality Hallmark.

The award ceremony for the 7th edition of the award will be held on January 27, at the headquarters of the Federal Council of the Brazilian Lawyer Association, in Brasília.
