
Vanessa França Bonini Panico and Lucas da Costa Ferrari at the 75th NAFSA Conference
The University of Ribeirão Preto – Unaerp attended the NAFSA 2023 Conference, which took place from May 30 to June 2, in Washington, DC, United States. The University was represented by the coordinator of the National and International Cooperation Division, Vanessa Bonini Panico, and by the Manager of Agreements and Partnerships, Lucas da Costa Ferrari.
Considered the largest international education conference, NAFSA hosted around 8,000 participants from more than 100 countries and allowed strategic meetings with foreign higher education institutions, with the aim of strengthening international cooperation and the development of projects for the internationalization of Unaerp.

During the conference, Unaerp had the opportunity to meet with foreign institutions from countries such as: Austria, Chile, China, Spain, United States, France, England, Italy, Japan, Peru, Portugal, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Turkey.
From Brazil, 29 institutions were together at the event and at the Brazilian stand, which had important support from the Ministry of Education - MEC, through the Higher Education Secretariat (Sesu), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE), the Instituto Guimarães Rosa, Embassy of Brazil in Washington and Brazilian associations for the internationalization of higher education, FAUBAI and GCUB.
