Unaerp Ranked as 4th Best Private University in São Paulo

The University of Ribeirão Preto has been recognized as the 4th best private university in the state of São Paulo and stands at the 9th position among both public and private institutions in Brazil. This ranking comes from the Ministry of Education's (MEC) evaluation of undergraduate programs for 2022, as announced by the National Institute for Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) on Monday, April 15th. Moreover, Unaerp secured the 18th spot nationally out of 90 private institutions assessed.

For the ninth consecutive time, Unaerp has also achieved rating 4 (on a scale of 1 to 5) for overall excellence in MEC's undergraduate program index. The quality indicators for undergraduate education in Brazil currently include the IGC (General Course Index) and the CPC (Preliminary Course Concept). The IGC represents the institution's score, calculated based on various factors, including the CPC ratings.

CPC/Enade MEC - In this assessment, the undergraduate programs in Administration, Law, Journalism, Psychology, Advertising and Public Relations, International Relations, Social Work, and Accounting at Ribeirão Preto University – Unaerp's Ribeirão Preto campus – were awarded a Level 4 rating in the CPC/Enade MEC.

The CPC evaluates each undergraduate program based on four dimensions to determine the quality of undergraduate education. These dimensions include student performance on the National Student Performance Exam (Enade), the academic qualifications and working conditions of faculty, data collected from the Higher Education Census regarding infrastructure, and the educational project's notes. These are obtained through student perceptions gathered from the Student Questionnaire administered during the Enade.
