Unaerp Coordinator of Architecture and Urbanism Visits Partner Institution in Peru

On July 8th and 9th, the coordinator of the Architecture and Urbanism Program at Unaerp, Professor Edson Salerno Junior, visited Universidad Católica de Santa María in Arequipa, Peru. During the visit, Salerno toured the facilities of the institution's Architecture program, which is a partner of Unaerp, and attended the semester-end project presentations by the students.

Additionally, the coordinator introduced Unaerp's Architecture and Urbanism program and discussed topics of joint collaboration, such as Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) activities. According to Salerno, "international academic cooperation between the Architecture and Urbanism programs of Unaerp and UCSM is important because it integrates architectural education between the two courses, bringing different perspectives to solving design problems."

The coordinator further emphasizes that international partnerships expand students' repertoire of design references and facilitate the generation of scientific knowledge.
